how did you unlock the first one you did??

Are they both running the same version ??

you can actually get it detected now use the latest version of dc-unlocker it will detect it but it says the modem is unsupported.

To detect it with dc-unlocker you need to manually choose E585 and set the port in which is shown in device manager.

Using the auto detect option wont work.

this is strange it still detects the first one if i plug it in the first one i bouight from australia post amd the second from VF shop is there anything i can check to see if there different .These modems are exellent with a optus card the speed is so much better than a optus stick ,

i spent 3 hours with the support team sent me a program still didnt work i get modem not found

I was having problems with dc-unlocker and the get data tab.

I bought a pocket wifi 2 (E585 v2) last week. Have run dc-unlocker2client but it never detected my modem or card. The dc-unlocker2client is the lastest version. If anyone knows how to unlcok this modem please let us know. I will need to take it with me to overeas next week. Thanks heaps.
