    Make sure drivers are installed.
    Use latest DC-Unlocker client software.
    Use autodetect.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
    Try restarting your computer.

Then try to go to Device Manager, find your modem, Right click on it and select Update driver. Choose to update it automatically (from internet) and after that try detect again.

Then try other computer. Check in task manager, maybe any process for connection software for this modem is running. Disconnect other usb modems if are connected. Try restarting computer

Then you can try to enter ports manually from device manager.
Open device manager. Find your modem there, then go to modem properties and check what com ports it uses?
Then go to ports section of device manager and check what com port is there?
After it open dc-unlocker software, select your modem manufacturer and model. Com port number that you found in modems section enter as application port and port number that you found in ports section enter as diagnostic. Then try to detect. If still can not detect, try to change ports places.
