Hi,
I've recently purchased another modem (Huawei E173u1 - unbranded, unlocked) and seeing that it has newer dashboard (a custom v21.005 if I recall it correctly - probably with newer driver as well), i removed my previous dashboard (v16.001 by Fakiro) and install this new dashboard.
The bad thing about the new dashboard:
1. It has - my guess - embedded browser that displays 2 banner ads.
2. It also invokes a new browser window and load another ads (a pop-up).
For me, those ads are damn annoying ! But what bothers me more is because those ads will be redownloaded for each connection session, and thus sucking my internet quota.
So, if anyone could give me a hint about how to disable those annoying ads OR give me a link to a latest generic dashboard updater thas has no ads and newer than v16.001 by Fakiro, I'd be grateful.
