HowTo Backup E160 Flash

Dear forummembers,

i have just unlocked my branded E160 with DC-Unlocker.

The unlock process was realy fast and works fine for me.
I positive tested my E160 with an alternative SIM.

Now its up to me to update the Flashdrive preinstallation device (Virtual CD-ROM Drive).

Im afraid to flash my E160, cause my current flash supports all OS i use.
Even Vista x64 is supported. the date of my stick is january 2k9.

Branding is "Tchibo Mobile" (O2-Germany)

My wish is to check if the DC-Unlocker supported support flash to debrand my stick in order to finalize the unlock/debranding process.:

- Can you sugest me to use the DC-Unlocker supported flach for the E160?

- Is it posible to make an backup before the flash action in order to rollback in case the flash not fit my needs?

- I not need all functions of "Mobile Partner" cause lack of support by my hardware (Stick). Is the flash optimized for my stick?

Thank you for the info.

I downloaded the not customized software and installed it.
The result was not like i hoped.
The software starts propper, but the device does not get installed / listed in the devicemanager.
Also the option to send GSM-Codes is missing ?!

Is there maybe an workflow to get a positive result?
