Fakiro , you know the voice activation for calls in my k3520 modem well i am on the 3 network they are providing me with my internet for free at the moment do you know if there was a way i.e by changing the settings that this could be extended to getting free calls as well -

Voice feature on your K3520 modem dongle use your credit balance that you have on your sim-card. Voice feature don't use data transfer to make free call

Firmware update failed

Hi guys,

I read the whole thread, and follow every instruction.

I tried to update the firmware, n my laptop went freeze while update was in progress, n now, the updated version firmware doesn't recognize the modem.

Are there any ways to recover the firmware? anyone please reply.

Your help is much appreciated.

If hardware (modem dongle) is not recognized by PC, if you do not hear the sounds of plug&play recognition device, if led not more flashing, if so on another different PC, than nothing can be do
Upgrade firmware is the most delicate phase, never pull the modem-stick even if it seems stuck and the process takes longer.
