Ladies/Gentlemen , i've been reading this thread for abt a week now, just tryin to find a solution for my crappy pathetic low life cheap * I don't wanna work * machine ( Vodafone wireless modem - Huawei k3520 )

I live in East Africa and there is no Vodafone sim card around this country .. I bought a different sim card ; installed Mobile Partner ; Created a profile but i'm getting an irritating error message saying :

The SIM/USIM card has not been detected or is invalid.

Whoever solves my problem , will be getting a free African safari tour ..

Check, if there was no original sim card inserted in modem when you were detecting with dc unlocker. If there was original sim inserted, dc unlocker can show wrong lock status.
To use mobile partner, do not remove old vodafone software. Install both. Just when you connect the modem, let windows find it and start old software. Then close the old software, start mobile partner and try to connect. Do not forget to creatre a profile with your new provider settings.

i have bought k3520 vodafone mobile broadband modem.i want to use it with a different mobile operator.but mobile partner software do not detect k3520 modem and gives me a message which was written on "the device has been disconnected or unavalibale".i set up dc-unlocker and i saw it is unlocked.
i thougt maybe mobile partner sotware can detect if i use k3520 with vodefone sim card.unfortunately it didn't detect my modem.
i use vodefone lite connect program with vodafone sim card it works(i tried)!!!
another problem is dc-unlocker couldn't find k3520 modem if i didnt set up "vodefone lite connect sotware" .so first, i set up vodafone connect lite after that i run dc-unlocker than i can see it is lock or unlocked!!!!

Please don't mixed management software into same PC. Remove all vodafone software, restart, install and use only Mobile Partner

However it not accepts Sim from Italian Wind !

How should I proceed to get accepted this Sim ?

Download DC Unlocker client and check wether your modem is locked or unlocked.If it is locked,you can unlock it by DC Unlocker.

Hi, this firmware version (11.314.17.00.00) is both for E169 and K3520.
It installs verywell into K3520 with NO password asked.

yeah thanks..i have flashed it higher and lower again, and all has been ok, you just have to be really carefull not to remove the device before its finished, when i first flashed it the damm thing seemed as if it had locked up, but it was just taking a long time to complete the flash......

Please dont use this if you not sure you need it .
