Answered after contacting via Live Chat - needed to set correct connection settings (APN, login, password, etc.).

i have bad news

no provider will teach me the settings

for the reason that they dont support units that have been unlocked.



is there any other way to check if i did unlocked this modem of mine. since i cant use it the connect to the internet because no settings are saved.

if anybody here in the forums could help me i would really appreciate it

Make sure drivers are installed.
Make sure modem software is turned off.
Make sure there is no other Huawei devices connected at the same time.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
Try restarting your computer.
If the problem still exists, try other computer.

How did u unlocked?

oenone can you help me how you were able to unlock huawei B933 using RJ45 cable? Im using DC-unlocker client latest version but somehow it still cant detect my modem. I was subscribed to SmartBro before but did not renew because of poor service. Thanks

Hi Gintas, this may be repetitious but I still can't get my Huawei B933(smartbro) modem to be unlocked by DC unlocker 1.00.0913. I saw oenone having his modem unlocked using RJ45 but mine is not detecting. Also, the COM detection was @ COM3 whilst oenone was @COM1. please advise. Thanks

Tutorial is made for HiLink modems, but should be working for yours too. Same procedure.
