Mifi (Huawei E585) Error 24 unlock

I am trying to unlock my Mifi (FW 1026.11.64.18.505sp01 Compiled 6/Sept/2010).

The modem gets found by the unlocker - my account gets checked OK, then I try to unlock and I get an error message saying:
unlock failed !
(error code 24)
Port unavailable

I have tried a number of times, rebooting the unit etc but always get the same message.

Guidance on how to fix the problem would be appreciated

Be sure you are using latest dc-unlocker software version.
Be sure all drivers are installed.
Close all software related to router at detect time.
Disconnect other modems if are connected at detect time.
Try other computer.

Thanks for the quick reply
- I have the latest version of DC Unlocker (V1.00.717)
- Shut down all other applications
- tried with 2 different sims
- Reinstalled the drivers for the Mifi
- Turned off all Wifi transmitters that might try to connect to the Mifi
- Tried a few different flash settings (1m, 2m, 4m, 128m)
But always get the same result

I dont have another PC to run the SW on (do you have the app for a Mac?)

Could you try to use older dc-unlocker version? 702 version for example.

I am also trying to unlock my mifi and have the same error code. Again not able to unlock after carrying out the suggestions. I used an older version of DC Unlocker but it did not find the device so I had to install the latest version.

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software

Try 716 version, maybe it will work correct.
