3 E367 - will it need software installed once unlocked

Hi i'm looking to unlock a 3 network E367 dongle.

Once the dongle has been unlocked using the DC software will it need any further software in order to work with another network, or should I just be able to put in another sim and start using the internet?

I've not completed this process before so i'm a bit unsure of how it works!

You will will need new connection software (unbranded one).
Connection branded by providers may not accept other provider sim cards even if modem is unlocked.
