my windows vista does not find the vodafone 858 and therefore the dc unlocker cannot unlock it. do you have any suggestions?

I Have the same problem.
Using WinXPsp2 with Android drivers but dc-unlock cant detect.

I tried with the original Vodafone firmware and with SmartLucky2.3_World_Color rom.

Please help me.

Be sure you have enough right on computer (connected as admin).
Also, check, if no other software is blocking dc-unlocker.

I started the unlocker. Now it the error "unknown error (118)" shows up.

When I connect my phone trough usb, which drivers should it install? Does he do it automatically?

If you get error 118, you should check if there is no other unlocking software running at the same time, or if there is no other unlocking boxes connected at the same time.
If you are sure that there isnt any, then you should try fresh, software-free computer.
