DC-Unlocker unlocked my Vodafone / Huawei E160x. Excellent ! and the Vodafone software still works and connects to Vodafone.
Now enjoying 'Sim Freedom' I installed Huawei Mobile Partner software and it found the Vodafone sim. I set up a profile for Vodafone and just with the number field filled in with: *99# got connected. Bingo !!!
Now I want to set up other profiles and connect via other sims in the UK and abroad. I got a 3 sim but it won't connect via the default method (just *99#). Found info that said to insert the APN: three.co.uk ...still no joy.
I found profile information for other networks but none of them seem to work. I changed the Vodafone setup to the one suggested but it stopped working so changed it back to just: *99# and it worked again.
Does anyone know where I can find these profiles? As I go to Spain and The Canaries I want to buy a Spanish sim and set up a profile for it. Are there worldwide profiles available?
