as I remember here was a version of connection software that work with vodafone modems.
>>>
None of the 3 Mobile Partner variants you have works with the (current) K3770.
I found the version 21 on the web and installed it. It is quite a hassle because that install damages the previous K3770 install and you have to repair it by hand. What you need is a generic Mobile Partner install with the customised K3770 drivers.
Long story short: I can now use Mobile Partner with the K3770.
As for dc-unlocker, I do think you should warn users about false expectations. Unlocking the current K3770 does not mean using Mobile Partner on the device. It is possible to use it (modem locked or unlocked) but it is quite a bit of extra work.
Just unlocking the (current) K3770 will do plenty of nothing: you cannot connect with Mobile Partner at all; and you cannot connect with the Vodafone Dashboard to other providers. Unlocking was for the cat except if you manage with dialup or with dashboards which are a simple front-end to dialup.
Sure you have tested all huawei connections from this forum?
Yes, we know that the one we have in web page are not working with vodafone modems.
Yes, we warm, that dc-unlocker provide only unlock. Other configuration is left to user. More you can find here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/user_agreement
> Sure you have tested all huawei connections from this forum?
> Yes, we know that the one we have in web page are not working with vodafone modems.
You have a good number of connection managers specific to modems others than the K3770. You have exactly 3 non-customised connection managers and none of these 3 works with the (current) K3770.
Not true, you are not warning users against false expectations when trying to unlock the (current) K3770. I unlocked mine (not with dc-unlocker) and it was quite a hassle to get the new Mobile Partner version 21 to work with the modem.
So and now please excuse me, Vincentas. I'm tired of your marketing speak and obfuscation.

Vincentas was asking if you tried all Mobile Partner versions from this forum, not from our website.
DC-Unlocker unlocking procedure is about to unlock the modem, and that is what users are asking us, aren't they? So, DC-Unlocker unlocks the modem and reaches their expectations.
Also, everyone agrees with "User Agreement" automatically before using DC-Unlocker.
In "Questions and support" there is written "DC-unlocker.com is only able to offer support in getting the modem or phone unlocked using the software. Further device configuration is left to user.".
So, everyone gets all the information. But not everyone wants to read it.
> Vincentas was asking if you tried all Mobile Partner versions from this forum, not from our website.
Links to connection managers in the K3770 threads of your Huawei forum are all links to your web site.
> DC-Unlocker unlocking procedure is about to unlock the modem, and that is what users are asking us, aren't they? So, DC-Unlocker unlocks the modem and reaches their expectations.
The *current* dc-unlocker does not even detect the *current* K3770 device.

No, you are not right. I remember that I have found some connection managers, which links is not to our web site. You shouldn't search manager only for K3770 modem - as there are lots of connection managers which works on various modem models.
What do you mean by saying current K3770? If it has same firmware as the older one, then it means it is the same model.
If it had newer firmware, then it might be that DC-Unlocker could not detect and unlock it.
I said "Links to connection managers in the K3770 threads of your Huawei forum are all links to your web site" and that's entirely correct.
If you assert that there are connection managers (non-Vodafone, non-Huawei) that can work with the *currently sold* K3770 please provide an explicit reference. The burden of proof is on you.
I can tell you that I'm using the generic 'Mobile Partner', version 21, with a K3770 bought in November 2011. However, it was a hassle to get it running.
> ...I remember that I have found some connection managers, which links is not to our web site. You shouldn't search manager only for K3770 modem - as there are lots of connection managers which works on various modem models.
You "remember" that in non-K3770 threads there were references to connection managers not stored at your site and you heard voices in air that lots of them may work with the old K3770. Impressive.

The *currently sold* K3770 is not detected by dc-locker.

Sorry, my mistake. I tried K3770 with "O2 Connection Manager" and the software did not see the modem, so I guess it is not working.
But I also found other unbranded connection software.
Huawei Vodafone K3770 is working with this one: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/sho...1&postcount=39
Tested it myself, working fine.
I attached some screenshots to prove you that this connection is working with Huawei Vodafone K3770 modem.
We are glad that you managed to unlock your modem with another tool and found the Mobile Partner version that is working on your modem.
But its not nice from your side to blame us that our software is not working or we are giving our customers false information or we do not have software that can work after unlock.
So, the conclusion is, DC-Unlocker really unlocks Huawei Vodafone K3770, and you can find the unbranded connection manager in our forum that is working with it.
You should also share your solution with Mobile Partner to work on K3770.
I think the discussion is over now, and if you agree, we can close this thread.

I said and I repeat that dc-unlocker does not detect the *currently sold* K3770.
I said and I repeat that none of the 3 unbranded connection managers you offer in your downloads works with the *currently sold* K3770.
The link you give now to a connection manager is dead for me. It is also a link of year 2008. Stop bluffing and refer exclusively to the *currently sold* K3770.
You have not referenced any generic connection manager that works with the *currently sold* K3770. You have just blown hot air.
I said and I repeat that I'm using Mobile Partner version 21 with the *currently sold* K3770.
I'll give a report on how to get it running with the *currently sold* K3770 as soon as I detect a bit of honesty in what you are saying.

Link is working fine, you just need to click on an additional URL in the link provided.
Anyway, I can give you direct link for download: http://rapidshare.com/files/42514040....06.01.500.rar
It does not matter that the link is from 2008 year, but link is working, and the software is working with the *currently sold* K3770.
I said and I repeat that none of the 3 unbranded connection managers you offer in your downloads works with the *currently sold* K3770.
We have never said that any the "of the 3 unbranded connection managers you offer in your downloads works with the *currently sold* K3770". We said that there are non Vodafone managers in our FORUM that works with it. Also, NOT all links refer to our web site "Downloads" section. The prove is above.
I said and I repeat that dc-unlocker does not detect the *currently sold* K3770.
Your "*currently sold*" description of modem version, firmware version and date is not enough. If you give us more information
about YOUR "*currently sold*" modem, then we will be able to check whether it can be detected and unlocked with DC-Unlocker software or not.
We also have *currently sold* K3770, which can be detected and unlocked with DC-Unlocker. Also, it can be used with the software that I provided you in previous post - there are proves (screenshots) given also.

We are happy that you managed to unlock your K3770. However, you did not give us information how did you make it to work with other connection manager.
But I think the information that we gave (how to unlock and where to find software for *currently sold* K3770) is enough.
You have not referenced any generic connection manager that works with the *currently sold* K3770. You have just blown hot air.
The only one false information that was given from our side is "I tested it with Huawei Vodafone K3765, it works fine. It will work on K3770 also." - because it is not working on K3770 (tested myself also). I am sorry for that and I am asking you just to ignore this information.
I think all issues have been discussed, all the required information was given and the thread can be closed now.
