I have bought credits and I can't use it, I think the client must be connected to the Internet to be properly used.
So when I try to change the provider of course I will be disconnected, now that is the problem...
You will have to find another connection method. Like LAN or WiFi for internet.
Modem that you are unlocking must be with other providers SIM card and not connected to internet.
