Unlocking U8500

Hello! I am a noob, but I did not want to wait to have a stranger online unlock my phone, would rather do it myself. I downloaded v 1.0.7.38 of DC-unlock, I am not sure which drivers I need to download along with that. Do 10 credits here = $10US? I've been reading a lot of posts on here and I think I can figure out how to unlock my phone after I buy the credits, but if anyone has any other help hints, please let me know. Thanks!
