Hello! Are U sure of this firm.
Let me explain.
I tried to install it but i recive no signal on my e160g.

From another link (on Dc Files) I donwloaded E160Update_11.609.08.00.156.B409

Is this the newest firm avaiable?

EDIT.

I've unlocked the voice option on the current dashboard. but... when i try to call someone I have an error window and Key crashes.
So, I suppose that the wrong thin is the firm\dash.
If I update this... May I have to unlock it again (so buy other credits?) or not?

I am very new here. I am from the Phils.

I need your help.

Do you still have this:

E160Update_11.608.02.00.00.B409.exe

I updated my firmware with the latest one but there is no signal so I'm trying to downgrade.

I was able to downgrade to this version E160Update_11.608.05.00.00.B409.exe but still, there is no improvement.

I am trying my luck if I this method will work.

You can use dc-unlocker and unlock this modem. Unlock retry couter will be resetted at unlock time.

My modem was not unlocked by DC-Unlocker. I came across to a forum who's gonna unlock the modem and they did it. I gave them my IMEI and the model of my modem and a day after that they gave me the code for unlocking.
What is 5 credits by the way?

hi, ....dc-unlocker software can generate firmware-code for upgrade/downgrade huawei firmware, just purchse few credit.
This is because you go from xx.00 to branded xx.156 version

My modem has already been unlocked before i even tried upgrading the firmware to xx.156. I even tried the NCK code which was the one i used for unlocking the modem but it didn't work. It says the password is incorrect.
