Same thing here. It's past 60 days and after submitting request etc. the Service provider tells me they were unable to obtain the unlock code from the manufacture. Absolutely no unlock code.

You can use dc-unlocker software and unlock your modem.

I just wanted to thank Gintas again for solving my problem. I have confirmed finally the Huawei e587 which mine is T-Mobile USA # is UMG-587 and is called T-Mobile Sonic 4G Mobile Hotspot was successfully unlocked. I appreciate so much the help.

I got mine unlock for free with code from ***** after the 60 day waiting period.

Were you able to unlock the e587. The T-Mobile USA # is UMG-587 and is called T-Mobile Sonic 4G Mobile Hotspot. This is not a phone so no screen but there is desktop s/w with an unlock code screen (which is grayed out). Just in visting many sites doesn't seem anyone supports unlocking this. I can send photo of label and screenshot but the email address on your website is not valid.

I've ordered the T-Mobile UMG587 today, and it will arrive early next week.

So, do I need to call-in for Live-Chat to unlock UMG587, or can I unlock it with DC-unlocker by treating it as if it were E587?

E587 is supported in latest dc-unlocker software version. Do not need to contact live chat.

I bought UMG587 from Ebay and i have same problem what the gentleman faced with his modem and same exactly model from T-mobile

I am living in Saudi Arabia now. and my network details is DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS 2100/900MHz; EDGE/GPRS/GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
The modem seems unlocked i put my SIM and i can see the 3G in the modem screen but without any internet access . I could not find the APN in the modem page also
Please help me

While it seems be "unlocked" I can't get on the interent. I changed the APN settings to that of the SIM carrier but seems the device display always shows "connecting".....but never connects.

Try to check the settings one more time.
If device accept other sim and see the network, means it is unlocked.
also, may try other provider sim card and other provider settings.
