E160 / E220 Flash Disk

I am wondering if there is a way i could format the flash drive / cd part of the E160 or E220 so that i could put my own files / software on there that is customised or is there a way to edit the files that the firmware updater puts on to the device.

Firmware update code is not free.You need to have 5 credits to generate the code.

Did you find out how to do it ? I understand Mobile_Partner is installing itself on your modem for example. For other type of modems like ZTE for example, you have to use DC-Unlocker to write the files. I am interested how this works for all other modems brads, maybe some links.
