Yes, same problem on other computers

The following error can not update
the updater could not update your device (error code:0x0000001c).

what is your operating system ? 32bit or 64 bit ?

you might want to try this method below.
1. download this vodafone software from internet ---> VMC-10.2.302.33178
2. install it.
3. after installation, you can leave it there or uninstall.
4. during or after installation, your system should be installing some driver.

5. download this mobile partner software from internet ---> Mobile_Partner_21.003.27.00.03.zip
6. install it.
7. during or after installation, your system should be installing some driver.

8. double click your mobile partner and see if it can detect your k4505 ??
