  • E160X / K3565 Vodafone USB Help PLEASE!

    Hi Again

Sorry but had to join again as lost my SSD drive backup and cannot remember my username or email for DCU!

Can anyone tell me IF on the E160X / K3565 Vodafone the VOICE function will work or not?

    I have:

    manufacturer - Huawei modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X
    IMEI :
    Serial NR. :
    Firmware : 11.609.10.00.00
    Compile date / time : Aug 31 2009 11:12:34
    Dashboard version : UTPS11.030.01.13.03_MAC11.202.08.00.03
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6246
    NAND Flash : SAMSUNG_K91G08
    Voice feature : enabled
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)

Think it was one I unlocked last year.

However, after going round in circles and squares, cannot get the VOICE to work on audio coming in, EG: Will show as making an outgoing call, but cannot actually hear anything?

    Win 7 - Home Prem - 64bit

Running Mobile Partner with voice (from DCU)

So am I an idiot trying to get something working that will never work, regardless of unlocking, activating voice and having an unbranded soft on it!

PLEASE assist an old tech geek

    update on e160

    Quick update:

    The DC-unlocker soft is showing:

    Dashboard version : UTPS11.030.01.13.03_MAC11.202.08.00.03

But I have downloaded and ran:

    Mobile_Partner_11.302.09.01.539 from:

Run the soft but the Mobile Partner is still showing as 11.030

Anyone have any ideas as driving me CRAZY!

Would love to resolve this after nearly a day of messing around with it!

If you see voice status as activated, it should work.
Try to check for other firmware, for other dashboard that support voice.
