  • Vodafone K3565/ Huawei E160x - curious log

    Hi @ all.

I bought my Vodafone yesterday and did the connection with the pc this evening, without any sim card. First at all i used DC_Unlocker to get what brand/type my vodafone stick is.

I got this log at first:

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X
    IMEI : 355xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Firmware : 11.604.20.00.00
    Dashboard version : VMCLite_9.3.3.10523_RP9_2.11.02.00
    Serial NR. : DX7NAA1xxxxxxxxx
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
Wrong codes entered : 10 (unlock attempts left : 0)

after changing dashboard i got this log:

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X
    IMEI : 355xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Firmware : 11.604.20.00.00
    Dashboard version : UTPS11.030.01.04.03
    Serial NR. : DX7NAA1xxxxxxxxx
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
Wrong codes entered : 10 (unlock attempts left : 0)

Wrong codes still on 10 and no attempts left.
I never entered any codes at all.

What does it mean. Is my vodafone stick now completely unlocked?
Can someone explain it to a umts nerd ?

    regards

Yes your unlock counter is blocked. But seems to me your modem is unlocked.Anyway when you are detecting the modem,do not select the model manually, keep it as auto detect.

Here is bug in latest dc unlocker version, if modem is factory not locked, possible fake code counter is detected, will fixed in new version.
