help with code input

i have a e160g on 3 network but it dosn't ask for unlock code when i have a 02 sims in it i just get wrong sims card inserted can anyone help ?please

i have installed the generic software but i still get no prompt for unlock code all i get after putting in o2 settings is device has been disconected or unavalible

maybe your modem counter is blocked ? If you generated code with dc unlocker, you can use again dc unlocker, select "read unlock code and auto enter", it will reset counter without extra charge. Also you checked lock status before getting code ? Maybe your modem is not locked, but customized firmware ?

i have no sims inserted when i get this
do i have to put a 02 sims in to unlock it ?
as when i go to unlock it asks for username and password

If huawei not allow you enter code,then how you enter 3 times wrong code?
This is not free services, if you need unlock just 1 modem it cost 15 credits(15 eur), user name you can get with credits only.

i haven't managed to use any codes in it at all as i have found nowhere to put them im not saying its a free service i was just asking about the username and password as i wasn't sure if it required one from 3
