Is it possible to unlock the r205 at all?

Vodafone R205 - modem not found
I too have recently purchased the Vodafone R205 (also known as 'Pocket WiFi PRO'). I have downloaded the latest version [v1.00.0913], but I am getting the "modem not found !" message also.
At first I was unable to detect a port, but tried another PC and it was able to get the COM1 ports working, but still "modem not found !"
The news section says that this modem is now supported with this version of DC-unlocker software.
If anyone is able to get this working, please post comments here.

Tutorial is made for HiLink modems, but should be working on your modem too. Same procedure.
Also, try to run DC-Unlocker as administrator (right click on DC-Unlocker > Run as administrator).
Also, right click on DC-Unlocker > Properties > Compatibility > Run in cmpatibility mode with Windows XP.Comment

I am having Problems Too
The software seems to be working OK but the "Unlock" button is ghosted.

No I have the original Vodafone SIM in it...Should I insert another SIM? Also having another problem now... When I click "Detect Modem" the software crashes, but only if the modem it turned on. I have inserted another SIM and now the unlock button is not ghosted, when I click it, the whole process seems to almost complete then the following error message...
