If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

The drivers are installed and i am able to use the router with its original Sim with the LAN cable. I switch off the connection software and when i put in the unlocked Sim it isn't connected to the internet. i downloaded the latest software from dc unlock and paid for unlock points. I already used the auto-detect settings but no luck at all. I told customer support all this but i haven't got any advice on what to do next.

Detect when router connected by lan cable.
Set router and lan card where router is connected to dhcp.

            Try to do this:
Open Network Connections in your computer.
Find your router there. Right click > Properties > Internet (TCP/IP) > Properties.
            IP: 192.168.2.1
            Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
            Ok > Ok.

            Try again to detect.

getting a message stating IP address entered invalid. The connection network details for the router connection already show these values for the router connection. I am able to connect to the admin page with no difficulty at all. the PC had no trouble detecting and connecting the the router. It is the DC unlock software that is unable to detect the router.

Did you try to use other internet connection method?

No, I bought the dc unlock software but unfortunately didn't even have any information on how to use it or the methods available, i spent days on Google trying to figure out how to unlock the router. Do you mind sending instructions on how to use the internet method.

Well, if you have internet through ethernet, you should use internet through Wifi, or through USB.

If you are having the same problem as me, these solutions may not work for you because the software appears to be unable to detect the router. All aspects of the router and windows setting seem OK. Still haven't been able to unlock my router.

Same here. Modem not found even that I can connect to the admin page. Looks like soft.
