Unlocking Problem! detecting card, please wait..............

Hi,

I just tried to unlock a Huawei E220 modem through DC Unlocker dongle. After that I registered on the DC Unlocker site and installed the client software (DC-Unlocker_1.00_0060_setup) from download section. Everything was fine but when I tried to unlock a modem its just said:

detecting card, please wait..............

and nothing is happenning. It cannot detect any modem. Modem is connected to one USB port and DC Unlocker Dongle is connected to another USB port. Port is working fully but DC Unlocker do not detect any modem.

Can you please diagnose the problem? Is there any problem in software or DC Unlocker Dongle is faulty? Thanks.

You need to download a latest version of DC-Unlocker from http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads and try it. The latest version is dc-unlocker_client-1.00.0229

No, it is not software or dongle problem. It might happen so because you didn't tur off the card connection software. At the detect time it has to be turned off and the card has to be free. More information can be found here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=223
