The modem I recently got was an already unlocked, black t-mobile e176(mobile broadband stick 520) The voice unlock in dc unlocker reported success, but the program detected it as an e1762 and the generic mobile partner software does not seem to list the device as being capable of hspa on the 1900mhz band. It should be listed as an e176 and be 1900mhz capable. I'm wondering if this has to do with the firmware on the device as it was stated to be debranded. Its weird though. I would think it would at least be able to find tmobile as an apn even if it only was able to connect at edge speed. Of course, I checked and I definitely knows theres a sim in it, and it can read its phone number. The sim I'm trying to use was registered in my mytouch 3g, and works in said device with data/voice/sms.
