status: unlocked, but still can not use other sim card
I just used DC unlocker to unlock my T-mobile comet(Huawei U8150). Not I can see the status in dcunlocker is unlocked, but when I insert a unauthorized sim card, the phone is still showing no service. Why?

Can you please detect your phone again with DC-Unlocker and copy here what is detected? We could check more what could be wrong then.

When I tried to unlock my U8150 with dcunlocker, I was using a custom rooted rom. DCunlocker status said it was unlocked, but it could never recongnize an ATT sim card. Then I restored it to factory rom. DCunlocker still think it is unlocked, but it cannot recongnize the ATT sim card.

Check, maybe sim problem or sim incorrectly inserted.
