On XP it works, but...
on auto (with my model selected) - "insufficient funds",
using E303 I do get the unlock code but modem is still locked and showing 0 attempts.
Any suggestions?

If you get the same error message again, try to run DC-Unlocker in compability mode.

If you get "Insufficient credits" error, then do not detect modem first. Only generate unlock code by IMEI.

If you still get that error, select other new algo Huawei modem model, (for example E367 or E392) and then generate unlock code by IMEI.

If you have 0 attempts left to enter unlock code to modem, then you will not be able to enter code to modem.
You will have to detect modem first, then use "Read unlock code and auto enter to modem" function.

Insert other providers SIM card to modem, then connect to computer, launch modems connection software. It should be asking for unlock code. Enter unlock code which you generated with DC-Unlocker.

It may look obvious once you've done it (well, I did it ages ago), but for a newbie, it's a vital info. IMHO I would put together a short tutorial or a list of steps and place it in FAQ or even on front page (think: keywords ).
