No, entering code to modem will not reset unlock codes counter.
Unlock codes counter can only be resetted when doing direct unlock with DC-Unlocker.
It is not possible for all modems though.

Not exactly. Now, users cannot do mass unlock, because there are 50 unlock codes only given per day.
