how to unlock vodafone 858 smart by username n paswarrd

i am zahid.. i have a vodafone 858 smart. due to careless handling of my little nephew[3years old], my fone is locked, now it requires username and passward to unlock it. what i do to unlock it?? please help me earlier.

I guess its not SIM locked, only pattern-locked.
Try to do this, this should be working:
Turn off the phone
Press and hold Vol+
And then press Power
Hold both buttons pressed
You should see "android recovery mode" or something
Select "Wipe user data /factory reset"
OK
