i tried to do that, but phone does not install modem. downloaded update tool from inq website, and even with drivers properly installed. no com ports, no modems.

i can send adb and fastboot commands without problem, does that help for anything?

correction: i can enter adb and recovery, not fastboot.

tried all combinations from other huawei phones, then some from my head, but still did not get fastboot (i would try to unlock as u8510, if phone gets detected). same with windows xp (32b sp3) and 7 (64b sp1)

And if you connect phone in normal mode? Do you see it in device manager?

There should be new drive created after you connect phone in normal mode. Try to open it.
Maybe there is software or drivers. If so, install it.

nope.it creates a drive, but itīs accessible only with sd card on phone, and give access only to sd. I expected a cdfs drive with own drivers, but this one does not have it (or, not enabled). looked out phone entirely for usb connectivity options, and couldnīt find anything.

while trying key combinations, found that camera + power for 5 seconds brings new device, "INQ Adb Download Mode", which in fact is fastboot (gets recognized with 'fastboot devices').

but, made the stupidity to use the oficial updater, and now phone is dead. oh crap... now my problem isntīt unlocking anymore.

                        InQ cloud support

INQ cloud belongs to Telus mostly sold in canada. I hope a support will soon be available.

thank you DC unlocker team for your efforts.

Sorry, we can not try to work on it further if it can not be detected.
