e587 / Telus - Noob questions

Hey all. Forgive me as I am a complete noob at this. I have a e587 on the Telus network (Canada). I was hoping to unlock it and use another SIM when I go to the UK. A few questions:

1) How do you actually unlock the thing when all you can do is connect to its web server? Is there a util that you run off your PC and plug into its USB connection? It has no keyboard etc..

2) I am currently on a 1 yr plan with Telus. Will unlocking it mess that up? Will Telus even know? I dont want to strand myself with my current plan just to get something that works in the UK.

3) Anyone have any suggestions of what / where I can buy SIM cards for a data plan only in the UK (in and around London)?

You will need to use dc-unlocker software in order to unlock your modem.
No, unlock does not change anything to your plan. You will still be able to use original provider. But, if provider will take modem for warranty it will see that modem is unlocked.
