Huawei B970b Router PLZ help me

Hi guys,

Any ideas how I can unlock my Huawei B970b Router? its locked to my local carrier (Airtel Zambia) and I have tried using the Unlocker software to connect the router to my laptop so it can read the firmware etc so I can buy credits to unlock it, but nothing seems to work.

the router can connect wirelessly or wired and I can access the internet without a problem, but the minute I try to use the unlocker software to read the router it says "modem not found"
I have tried using a USB cable connected to the power port to try and connect the router to my laptop but that failed and I also tried using a LAN cable connected to my LAN port and that failed too.

its driving me insane now and I dont know what to do.

Any help guys? PLEASE.

When you connect router by usb does it install any drivers or device? Of usb just for charging?

It doesn't install any drivers. All it keeps doing is connecting and dissconnecting. The window will pop up asking for a driver location or disk then the router disconnects and the window closes, again after bout 5 seconds the window will pop up again and a few senconds later the windows closes and the router disconnects. That's all that keeps hapening.

Does the router work with original sim?
I think it may have problem, if it connects and disconnects.

Then only way to try detecting by lan cable.
If can not detect, try other computer.
Try to detect when no internet connection.
Try to add other ip for your existing connection or router. For example: 192.168.2.1, not 192.168.1.1

Ok I have finally unlocked my router but when I use another network sim the router shuts down, any ideas why this is happening?
By the way, I had to use another computer to unlock my router.

Maybe you did not enter new provider connection settings (apn, username and others). Also, check other settings from router.
