Rogers Novatel Ovation MC950D Card

Dc-unlocker software does not find the card on autodetect.

Running current version of DC-unlocker on Windows 7

Card is found on Com3, but unlock button is greyed out.

Purchased 7 credits, credits show when logged into server.

No unlock. Advice please.

Unlock button is grayed out because device is detected as unlocked. Insert invalid/not original sim card to get correct lock status, then you'll be able to unlock it directly.

Restarted DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1045

Unlock button still greyed out.

If module is not detected by using auto detect please check if there is no other program using your device. Also check in device manager if it appears there correctly.

Unlock button is still grayed out because as you can see lock status is incorrect.

You are correct, the device was hidden and active in my Win7 taskbar. Closing modem software wasn't enough, one must also shut down device in the taskbar (the little triangle pointing up in lower left hand corner of screen - show hidden icons)

I shut down the device from the task bar (right click on device icon, shut down), and re-ran DC-unlocker software. Device was auto-detected.
