Novatel Merlin XU870 not detect

Hello,

I have Novatel Merlin XU870 card. The original Novatel MobiLink software detect card and card working properly. But Unlocker client do not see card. I try manually change com ports, try auto detection mode but the result is same:

Detecting card :

manufacturer - Novatel
model - Auto detect
card not found !

Use Windows XP Professional SP3 on Dell Inspiron E1505 notebook.

Any ideas welcome !!!

To detect modem need have two ports application -- port number from modems and diagnostic port number from ports in device manager. You selection manually com 5 and com 5 is wrong. Ports must be different.
If you not see diagnostic port in device manager, uninstall modem drivers and install it from dc unlocker folder. Also modem must not busy (not connected to internet, not started mobile connect software.

Thank you for your replay. The problem was with out to date drivers for XU870 card. After drivers update from Novatel website to last version the detection problem resolved and unlock software found the card in auto mode. Sure card must be free from other applications
