Hello. Once modem is unlocked - it is unlocked forever. Writing other firmware will not change unlock status.

DC-Unlocker does not change firmware. Also, we do not recommend you to upgrade/downgrade firmware because you can damage your modem.

To check if the modem is really locked, you need to insert other providers SIM card into a modem and detect it with DC-Unlocker. Line "SIM Lock Status" will show if your modem is locked or not.
