Novatel Merlin U530

Does anyone know of a solution or software i can get the above card working on, i have unlocked it from orange and tried using Mobile partner and the original orange dashboard but each time i start it, it cannot find the card...

its as tho the radio function isnt working, dc unlock says its unlocked now, and device manager has found it ok, just cant get it to work under XP..

any advice appreciated....

You need to find and install not branded conenction software for novatel modems. Mobile partner is for huawei modems. Original dashboard may not accept other provider sim cards.

Yeah, i had a feeling that was the problem, i hope i have'nt paid to unlock it only not to get it working.!!

Do you happen to know of any unbranded software that may work with this.?

For Novatel modems need use Mobilink software. Is available free at Novatell support page. Now also i uploaded to our support.
