AT&T Novatel 2372 - Random Freezes - Flashing Red and Blue

    AT&T Novatel 2372 - Random Freezes - Flashing Red and Blue

    I received the AT&T Novatel 2372 unlocked and I am using it in India. Everything works fine but after using it for a while the device simply locks up and the Red and Blue LED flashes alternately. The only way to recover the device is to remove the battery and connect it again.

    Has anyone else faced the issue? While searching this is the closest match I found -- http://salehalsaffar.com/blog/?p=733

    I am currently on the Generic 5.26.2 firmware, the device had come preinstalled with the AT&T latest firmware.

    Just now flashed the Bell 5.28 firmware on top of the Generic 5.26, and it seems to be more stable. No freezes yet and the speeds improved a lot as well.

      With the Bell firmware, I am not able to use the device as a modem, not sure why. Its not connecting.
