Finally I made it work. I searched for
      4d004f0030003200300031
      instead of 4d 4f 30 32 30 31.
And I had to use another version (13.4 MB)

      Thanks to Erdman for trying.

Sorry, can't find the Edit message option. Superfire log is attached. Sticker on the modem says it's GI0201-10837.

                Unlocking Orange(SP) branded OPtion

I´ve an old Option Icon 7.2, model GI0201, Qualcomm 3G CDMA.
                It´s Orange (Spain) branded.
When I autodetec with DC-Unlock the result is:

                DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0565

                Detecting card :

                selection :
                manufacturer - Option
                model - Auto detect (recommended)

                Found modem : GTM378
                Model : GlobeSurfer ICON 7.2
                IMEI : 352375010938744
                Serial NR. : SE3976P1WG
                Firmware : 2.1.2Hd
                Compile date / time : Feb 20 2007 13:00:52
                Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6280
SIM Lock status : Locked (PH-NET PIN)

                ================================================== ========

But I can´t unlock the Option, as after some seconds the DC-Unlocker
gets frozen at 99%, and I´ve to end the task with the windows task manager.
I´ve to remark that the ports window left in grey (not white) ,with its
appropiate COMS (COM3 and 4 in my case).

Moreover, when I try to use Superfire it says that "The detected device
cannot be updated with this program, Please insert an appropiate device..."
The known problem with branded Option.

I don´t know what to do now.

Please, help me with a Superfire patched for Orange (SP) and tell me how
to unlock my Option with DC-Unlocker...

                Thanks!

You have detected internal notebook device. Try detecting on other computer, where are no other modems connected.

                    Hi Vincentas!

No, I´m not working with another internal or external modem device in my notebook. DC-Unlocker recognizes my dongle Icon 7.2 as an GTM378. The problems is the same with my desktop PC.

                        At last!

I´ve unlocked my Icon 7.2 branded by Orange (Spain), after doing my last experiment: to change the drivers of the branded software with the drivers of an very old version (0267) of dc-unlocker. Curious.

Now I have a great problem: to change the branded firmware and soft with a generic one (Option, of course). Superfire doesn´t permit me it. The annoying and well known message: "The detected device can not be updated... Insert an appropiate device..." gets me desperated.

                        Please, any solution?

                        Thanks in advance.

When you start Superfire, select "generate log file" and post.
