ICON 225 - Error 118

Hello,

Trying to unlock my Icon 225. Right now, I haven't bought credit, just want to make sure my modem model can be unlock (the website says yes).

I installed the software, run it (with the modem plugged in) and I get an error message 118 as follow


DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0460
Detecting card :
selection :
manufacturer - Option
model - Auto detect
unknown error (118)

Can you please help me?

Be sure all drivers are installed and you see modem in device manager. Be sure no antivirus or other software is bloking dc-unlocker. If that does not help, try to use older dc-unlocker version.

why remove antivirus

I have all drivers installed as I used my modem before.
Why do I have to remove my antivirus, is there another software that need to install. I am a bit worried.

Do not need to remove it, just check, if it does not block. Try to use older dc-unlocker version, not 460v version.
