Replace and update ICON225 (GIO225) to latest Firmware and Software...

If anybody want to upgrade ICON225 (alias GIO225) to latest original Option firmware (2.5.24Hd), and to latest original Option software (3.1d0-1086P, and 3.1d0-1162 win7 compatible), please post a message here...

Please firstly tellme brand name of Icon225 modem (orange UK, T-Mobile DE, Uk...etc.), after download orginal option firmware for Icon225 from here:

Activate "Generate Log file", and try to upgrade...it's ended with "The detected device cannot be updated with this program. Please insert an appropriate device and click Next to try again", warning message, then the process end.

Send me the "Superfire.log" generated file (about 18Kb size), and I upload working firmware and software to you

Ok, country really is not important (is for my info).
Open with notepad and post here "Superfire.log" file also of T-mobile and Orange version (they are different)

You can try the AT commands at_ogtc? or at_opmn, too.

The device works with the updated software but still same problem.
Updates don't is related to radio off.
You need for dump of the files in the NV (NAND) when "no network" or "radio is off" message. The modem is detected, the sim-card also but "no network" is displayed.

You need Qualcomm PST 2.7 Build 264:

                              1. Put your ICON 225 into USB

                              2. Install Qualcomm PST 2.7

                              3. Click Start - Programs - QPST - Software Download

                              4. Select tab "Backup" and click Start (qpst will save NV items as *.qcn file, for example nvt.qcn)

                              5. Close Software download

                              (see also for novatel xu870...)
