  • AT&T Velocity (Option GI461)

    I have an Option GI461 and its a AT&T Velocity branded USB modem - I have tried to unlock and it failed the first time with the following response:

    ================================================== =======

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0557

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - Option
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Found modem : GI0461
    Model : iCON 461 (GI0461)
    IMEI : 3575160317XXXXX
    Serial NR. : XXXXXXXXXXX
    Firmware : 2.14.2.0Hd
    Compile date / time : Dec 18 2009 11:36:05
    SIM Lock status : Locked (PH-NET PIN)

    ================================================== =======
    Unlocking, please wait ...

    Preparing Boot Download mode ... OK
    Sending loader ... OK
    Waiting modem/phone to be ready ...

    unlock failed !

    (error code 24)

    ================================================== ========

    Now all i get is:

    ================================================== ========
    Unlocking, please wait ...

    Preparing Boot Download mode ... OK
    Restarting modem ... OK

    Error connecting to server !

    (error code 62)

    ================================================== ========

    It is detected properly but still fails - I have tried multiple times. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Check, if you have internet connection at unlock time (not use modem that are unlocking for connection).
    Check, if no other modem are connected to computer.
    Try to restart and do unlock again (unlocking again same modem does not require credits).

      Option Icon 461 (GI0461)

      I had the same problem, the first time i tried to unlock the card, it errored out with error code 24 after going through a couple more tries, I left the dc unlocker software running, then removed and reinserted my Option icon 461, i changed the software back to "option" and "autodetect" (the software set itself to option icon 461), and this time it found the modem again and unlocked successfully.
