  • Nokia Booklet 3G - no 3G device

    Hi.

I used DC-unlock to unlock 3G modem, software said that everything went well. But now the device is not detected.

I tried with hotkey utility to enable 3G device, no luck.
I uninstalled hotkey utility and tried to enable 3G, nada.
Blacktip Pico Firmware updater doesn't detect modem, nor is it under devices in any form.

    Any ideas ?

Turn off computer, disconnect battery, connect battery back, start computer. Your modem should becomme visible again.

Unlock can not cause this. Maybe you were updating firmware?

Yes, it just might be that I did, I reckon 2.9.5.0 build 25.06.09 Blacktip_Pico was the one I used AFTER unlock and it updated the firmware, and then after reboot it went dead.

          Is it fried now?

sorry, we can not help then. It may be that your modem is damaged now.
