Error Code 21

by unlocking GlobeTrotter HSDPA Modem iCON 225 i get the error message 21.
What can i do?

Error 21 is modem not response, it can be drivers problem, try update drivers to generic. it presents in dc-unlocker install directory.

i tried it out but without success. After installing the generic driver, the software can´t connect to the GT.

I am using Vista, i will try to use a XP system to solve the problem. Maybe it works. Do you have another idea?

Next week we will change unlocking system for this modem, then will unlock ICON 225 stable in all os.

i tried to unlock the model with new .238 unlocker software, but without success. I used the software with two different systems. Windows XP Prof & Windows Vista. i get allways the error code 21.
When do you plan offer the update of the software?

it loads the boot loader every time to 50% then it stops and the error message appears.

when the software starts loading onto the stick, the sticks starts flashing very fast (about 3-4 times faster then in normal mode)

After about 2 days there will be a new fixed version. Could you check, maybe something is taking ports? Maybe connection software is running or some process is started.

i tried it on a second computer (also win xp sp3). Absolutely the same problem! No connection software was running.
The usb-card is detected but after starting preparing boot loader it breaks up.

Hope the new version will resolve this, as this usb-card is probably the most common in germany (because of special promotion of T-Com).

Same thing happens to me

All ist already written. Everyone knows the Problem with Error 21.

We really need a Version that works. I payed EURO 15,- via Paypal an still the Software is not unlocking the device. Please fix it ASAP

New version is coming for tomorrow, error have not all customers just, a few percent . Error is because modem not response after download mode is enabled. Windows not load drivers (not all time) . Unlock for this modem procedure will changed totally.

I have the same problem with Web´n´Walk iCON225.
I get always the error 21 and 22.I test it with different drivers on Windows XP SP2.

I hope the new version will solve the problem :-)

Maybe you can tell us more details of your unlock.
I debranded the firmware, too but i get allways error code 22.

Some idea?

deactivate 3g software
use locked SIM

Killing threads in Taskmanager or changing drivers didnt solve it. i use vista too.
Then i updated the firmware from t-mobile 2.4.6hd to Option FW, updated PC software and drivers and DC-unlocker worked.
