  • HELP!! How to enable GPS on a Sierra MC8775

    Hello!
    My main question is:
How do you access a sierra MC8775 over the AT command Port?

I was using a Terminal programm and tried to enable the voice feature.
The MC8775 should normally be accessed by using the command at!entercnd="A710"

    MC8704 works
    MC8705 works
    MC8775 ERROR MESSAGE

    reason??

MC8704 and MC8705 are new directly from Sierra Wireless
The MC8775 is used ... taken from a lenovo Notebook ... don't know which one.

The command for enableing the voice feature is
    at!custom="ISVOICEN",1

    MC8704 and MC8705 works
    MC8775 ERROR MASSAGE

Anyway the DC Unlocker was able to enable the voice feature but I don't know how!!

I think the DC Unlocker coul'd also be able to enable the GPS feature instead of using the command at!custom="GPSENABLE",1

please tell me any way how I can enable the GPS feature,
or maybe it's easyer to change the commands you are using for enabling the voice feature and you could create another button in DC Unlocker like the voice enable button.

    please help me ...

    thank you

At the moment, there is a button for activating the voice feature for Sierra Wireless on DC-Unlocker program in the "Unlocking" tab. Apologies but at the moment our software does not have a feature to activate gps on your device, but it might be implemented in the future, no exact date for this though.

      Thank you for your answere!

I think the only problem is the password of the at!entercnd command.
      Sierra Wireless use A710
Lenovo surely use an other password.
Do you know this password or how to bypass or crack it?

Apologies but as dc-unlocker does not have this function, i'm not able to answer to this question because it is not related to dc-unlocker services.

But DC Unlocker seems to know how to access the password protected AT commands of the MC8775.
AT!Icustom="ISVOICEN",1 and AT!custom="GPSENABLE",1 are in the same password protected area.

I want to know too how I can access!

Yes, you can use AT commands on dc-unlocker, but it is not a part of our service. Therefore this information is not accessable.

              OK ... Thank you.

I hope the programmers of DC Unlocker will soon implement such a GPS ENABLE Button.
