  • Sierra Wireless EM7700 Unlock - Modem Not Found!

    Hey there!

I'm currently attempting to unlock a Sierra Wireless EM7700 from a Samsung Ativ PC Tablet, and continuously am running into the error message - "No Modem Found!"
I've followed all the steps from this tutorial - https://www.dc-unlocker.com/Sierra-W...t-unlock-guide and have downloaded the correct drivers to make it all work.
Anyone know how to get this working?

    Thank you

After installing drivers you must restart your device. Then go to device manager and check for how module of your device now appears there, let us know the results.

I am having the same issue as howtounlockmyphone. Installed the driver, reset the computer, modified the binder settings, etc. When I open the software and scan for Sierra Wireless EM7700, the software says "Modem not found!"

Have you checked the tutorial for this device? Special drivers are necessary to install on pc before detection https://www.dc-unlocker.com/Sierra-W...t-unlock-guide after driver installation restart/reset pc is required.

Yes, I downloaded the drivers that are linked on that page. After installing, the computer was reset. I used the software to scan the computer for the modem using the "recommended setting" and "no modem found." I used the drop-down box and manually selected everything, and manually selected each port, and still "no modem found."

Make screenshot of your device manager with PORTS and MODEMS lines expanded then add it here. We will check what might be wrong on your side.

I also verified the drivers installed: SWI9200X_03.05.19.04ap 9901799

Have you restarted device after installing drivers? Maybe any processes for modem left running at detect time?

Yes, Vincentas. The device has been restarted several times, post-installation.

Attempt to detect it manually, on DC-unlocker software select model from the list, then enter DIagnostics port COM5 / Application port visible in properties/modems of the line that appears under "Modems" in device manager.
