    What dc-unlocker software version you use? If use older then 460 version, check, if no sim is inserted at unlock time.

                Sorry for posting into this rather old thread, but I have a very similar problem as lpz3sn had. I have an IBM T60 notebook with SierraWireless MC8755 HSDPA network adapter and if I try to unlock this card, I get error code 37:

                Code:
                DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620

                Detecting card :

                selection :
                manufacturer - SierraWireless
                model - Auto detect (recommended)

                Found modem         : MC8755
                Model               : MC8755
                IMEI                : 3586XXXXXXXXXXX
                Serial NR.          : X20096710091035
                Firmware            : U1_2_45MCAP
                Voice feature       : disabled
                SIM Lock status : Locked (PH-NET PIN)

                ===================================================================

                Unlocking, please wait ...

                unlock failed !

                (error code 37)

                ===================================================================
                I use "DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620" under Windows XP Pro SP2. There is no SIM card in the HSDPA network adapter while unlocking. Currently I have Sierra Wireless 1.5.1.5(4/3/2006) drivers installed. I have tried rebooting the laptop, but still this very same unlock failed ! (error code 37).

                If any additional information is needed, please ask! Please give suggestions, what to try next?

                  I upgraded Sierra Wireless drivers from 1.5.1.5(4/3/2006) to 2.0.4.0(7/25/2006), but still no use:

                  Code:
                  DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620

                  Detecting card :

                  selection :
                  manufacturer - SierraWireless
                  model - Auto detect (recommended)

                  Found modem         : MC8755
                  Model               : MC8755
                  IMEI                : 3586XXXXXXXXXXX
                  Serial NR.          : X20096710091035
                  Firmware            : U1_2_45MCAP
                  Voice feature       : disabled
                  SIM Lock status : Locked (PH-NET PIN)

                  ===================================================================

                  Unlocking, please wait ...

                  unlock failed !

                  (error code 37)

                  ===================================================================

                  Any suggestion, what else to try? Or maybe some developer of DC-Unlocker might give information, what does this error code 37 internally mean?

                    Finally I removed the the driver under Device Manger altogether, but "DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620" is still able to detect the MC8755. Probably as long as the adapter is accessible over the serial line, it is fine to "DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620" and actually there are no drivers needed for "DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620" at all.
                    However, unlocking still failed!

                    PS: If it helps, I can post the flash dump somewhere as "DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620" is able to read the flash of the MC8755 just fine.

                      Remove notebook battery, then connect it back, start computer, start dc-unlocker and repeat unlock.
                      Unlocking same device again does not require credits. You can unlock it with 0 credits.

                        Vincentas, thank you very much! Removing the laptop battery for ~10s indeed helped:

                        Code:
                        ===================================================================

                        Unlocking, please wait ...

                        Card successfully unlocked !

                        Credits left : 0

                        ===================================================================
                        Now the "SIM Lock status" is unlocked and "Voice feature" is enabled

                          Vincentas, unfortunately there seems to be some issues still present. If I connect to the modem and execute "AT+CPIN?" command, I always get "ERROR" as a response:

                          Code:

                            Deetct by dc-unlocker when not original sim inserted and you will see correct lock status.
