MR1100 unlock

Trying to unlock my Nighthawk and keep receiving this message when I attempt to auto-detect:

"
DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1431

Detecting modem :

selection :
manufacturer - SierraWireless/NETGEAR
model - Auto detect (recommended)

Access denied! Check firewall, antivirus, try to launch software as Administrator!"

I am using Win10, operating in administrator account. Any ideas?

OK, turns out the computer was in the midst of a massive Win10 update. Once that completed overnight (wow!), I was able to reset security settings to allow auto detect to proceed. Now, I'm stuck on

DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1431

model - Auto detect (recommended)

modem not found !

Tried a couple of the suggestions elsewhere in this forum without success. What next?

OK, moving along. Finally was able to detect the MR1100, but when I hit Network Unlock, I get the following message:

Unlocking, please wait ...

Error code 68

unlock failed !

Okay, are you able to log in on server tab successfully when MR1100 is connected to pc?

Thanks, I eventually achieved the unlock. In case someone else has the same problem in the future, here are the next few steps I encountered.

After the error 68, I got an error 62. Then I started switching USB ports around and finally discovered a port which moved beyond this point, but then got this message:

Two network adapters has same IP subnet! Please change network card or router IP address to different subnet.


Finally, I turned off the wifi on the computer and connected via ethernet and had this message:
