Cannot log in to DC when MR1100 is plugged in/recognized

If this topic has been discussed and resolved, please point me in the right direction!

My problem is this: If I open DC Unlocker while my MR1100 is plugged in/tethered to my pc which is connected to my (or any other) network, I am unable to check my log in or perform the repair without encountering server test errors and ultimately am operation timeout! error. If I disconnect my MR1100 from the USB port, I can log in and DC will recognize my username and credits available, but obviously, it cannot recognize my MR1100 because it's unplugged.

Since I need to be both connected to the internet, and my MR1100 needs to be connected via USB to my pc in order to perform the imei repair I'm attempting to do, how can I get past this, only -one- or- the- other, issue?

You were able to diagnose the problem correctly, and it is as you say, you need to have active internet and MR1100 connected to pc via USB for IMEI repair. Your problem points to a connection priority issue on your computer that does not know which adapter is active and should be prioritized. There are multiple ways to solve it. Another solution is to try from another computer if there is such possibility as it may not require any setting change.

This problem also mostly occurs if you use wifi as an internet source, plugging the computer to an ethernet cable instead may solve it as well if there is such a possibility.
