MR5100 APN Not Allowed

Hello,

Att has pushed a firmware update on this device that disabled changing the APN to certain strings, example “phone” , “NXTGENPHONE” is there anyway of getting this back?

paid for an imei repair / unlock but this is rendering my device unusable.

Hello there, we do not have experience with this, but maybe there is a possibility for a firmware rollback/downgrade from the device's dashboard? this could sort things out.
