If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Does the connection software see the modem and it's not in "Software Installation" mode and then close it, make sure it's not running as a icon near the clock.
Then try to detect with dc-unlocker.

Are you using the AT&T connection software or the Sierra Wireless 3G Watcher software? I found the AT&T connection software was more inclusive than the Sierra Wireless 3G Watcher software.

Make sure the connection software is not turning off the modem when closing the software, you can change this in the 'options'.

I found same problem ,DC Unlocker show error :card not found.
Windows detect modem complete,Use 3G watcher or at&t and close all software
Dc unlocker same show :card not found.
I unlock many other model with dc-unlocker ,it very best ,no problem
but only ac305 it really problem.
